The anti-MSP.

Howl Solutions designs, deploys, and documents IT for small and mid-size businesses in Edmonton, then hands every part of it to you. The networks, the identities, the licenses, the documentation. Built so you're never trapped in a contract just to keep your own technology running.

01Why Howl

C:\HOWL\SOLUTIONS\ABOUT\WHY\

If you've run a business on a managed-IT contract, you know the trap. The provider holds the credentials. The licenses are in their name, not yours. Nobody wrote down how anything was configured. And the day you want to leave, you find out that leaving means starting over.

That's not IT being hard. It's a business model, one that depends on you not being able to go.

We built Howl on the opposite bet.

 THE MANAGED-IT TRAP, ITEMIZED

 credentials ..... they hold them
 licenses ........ their name
 config .......... never written down
 leaving ......... starting over

 THE OPPOSITE BET

 credentials ..... yours
 licenses ........ yours
 config .......... documented
 leaving ......... take it all

02The model

C:\HOWL\SOLUTIONS\ABOUT\MODEL\

No end state. No hostage situation.

  1. 01

    The part everyone agrees on

IT never reaches a finish line. It keeps moving, and a good business moves with it. Most IT shops use that fact to keep you on the hook forever. You'll always need us, they say.

  2. 02

    The opposite conclusion

Same fact, opposite conclusion. Because it's a moving target, no static contract should trap you. You should stay because the next problem is worth solving, not because leaving hurts. IT doesn't go away, and we won't pretend it does. There will be outages, migrations, 2 a.m. problems. You'll never not need help. You'll just never be trapped.

  3. 03

The exit is in the build

Every engagement ends with you owning the tenant, the domains, the licenses, the source, and the documentation. Config exports, runbooks, and scripts are handed over, not held. You decide what comes next. Light advisory, a bigger project, or nothing at all. Cancel anytime.

IT that grows with you.

A growing company's needs never sit still. This quarter it's a Teams room for the new conference space. Next it's a work-from-home setup that actually holds up, or fleet management once headcount doubles. That's the real recurring value. CTO-level thinking for a business too specific to fit a one-size IT model, from people who already know how yours runs. We stay because the next problem is worth solving, not because we're holding the keys. Every system we build and every workflow we automate is yours to keep, whether you renew or not. And when there's nothing worth doing, we'll tell you to do nothing.

03Who runs it

C:\HOWL\SOLUTIONS\ABOUT\WHO\

Two operators, no bios.

Two Edmonton operators, plus the specialists a project needs. You'll meet us in the room.

We keep our names, our client list, and the vendors we use off the public site on purpose. An attacker can't socially-engineer a name, a relationship, or a pretext they were never handed, and no client of ours is discoverable from another. We hold that line for your environment the same way we hold it for ours.

When something breaks, you're not filing a ticket into a queue. You're talking to the people who built it, who already know how your setup is wired.
